Make a Difference
Hone your professional skills, build your resume, and make a difference through a week of service through the UC Impact Program!
Through the program, second-year students have the opportunity to work on substantive pro-bono projects with organizations at the start of the quarter. During these week-long experiences, groups of 4-5 students are matched with an organization to complete an assignment together with each student focused on building a specific skill, such as project management, research, writing, data analysis, or design. Projects can take place remotely from around the world and across a variety of industries.
Past host organizations have included:
- Advance Illinois
- McDermott Will & Emery
- National Constitution Center
- OpenFin Technologies
- The Policing Project – New York University Law School
- The Soondra Foundation
Projects offered through the UC Impact program are unpaid, pro-bono opportunities.
The application for UC Impact Winter 2021 is now open and available to eligible second-year students on Handshake.
